this is brief of necessity. I am on my tenth migraine day. I have no idea why and early hope it is ending. Yesterday I managed on no medication and wen to bed a little hopeful for today. I was awoken at 5am with a ballistic pain in my head, felt like it was going to explode from neck to top. It is so scary. sleep is supposed to be preparing and soothing, but I get struck with pain in the night. When I asked the neuro why he told me "it has to start sometime".....wow, I defer to the experts....
So I am off to bed very nervous and this time not hopeful.
Night.

Wow, Pen, we have something else in common, I also have migraines. If I catch mine,spots in the eyes, immediately taking 3 tylenal, I may hold it down to just a minor migraine. But if I don't, it is a bummer to deal with. I have gone to a massage therapist. She has helped me by keeping my shoulders loose. I do exercises, everyday, relaxing my shoulders. I have ostearthritis in my neck, which makes my shoulders stiff, and causes me, not only a migraine, but unable to lay my head down at night. Other than the arthritis angle, I have had migraines, since I was 10 years old. My mom and my brother also had them.
You have my total understanding aren't they just the pits???
I dont have arthritis but i do have Fybro (see other blog).
My neck is a mess but they cant find anything wrong with it.
I am on day 11 and today has been better. I dont have another single family member who has had them. And I do my genealogy and can go back quite a way through word of mouth....no migraines....
I dont know why I have them or what causes them but they are ruling my life and I am so sick of it. I will come see your blog.
